NTU MeDA Lab x Doctors x AI Experts
Professor Wang Wei-chung's team from National Taiwan University, Dr. Huang Jian-hua, Director of the Emergency Department of National Taiwan University Hospital, Dr. Hsu Che-yu, Chief of the Department of Radiation Oncology, Dr. Lin Ji-jin, Director of the Department of Imaging Therapy at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, and AI experts will teach the analysis and application of medical imaging and big data, and show you how AI will affect Taiwan's future medical and care fields. The hackathon event will allow all students to work in teams to complete their own AI medical achievement projects.

Led by the research team, physicians, and AI experts from the National Taiwan University MeDA Laboratory, you will gain an in-depth understanding of the basic concepts and technologies of machine learning and deep learning through teaching discussions, and master the application of the latest AI medical research.

Professional teaching assistants provide hands-on training
A group of professional teaching assistants with backgrounds in Computer Science and Information Management will guide each group of students in the training and verification of medical image recognition AI models, and answer questions in a timely manner, so that the group can gradually overcome challenges and complete thematic results.
Teaching assistants provide step-by-step guidance on AI implementation
A group of professional teaching assistants with backgrounds in Information Engineering and Information Management will guide the group in learning AI model training, answer students' questions at any time, and assist the group in completing practical results of the topic.


Hackathon Competition
Experts provide a variety of disease data and imaging datasets, allowing students to try to train their own AI models and make predictions, give full play to the team spirit, and jointly complete the results of the medical topic!

Q: If I don’t have Python programming or AI foundation, can I still participate?
Q: Are students who already have a background in programming or AI suitable to participate?
A: This is an event for young people to stimulate, discuss and learn from each other. If you already have a background in programming or AI, this is great! You will have the opportunity to learn how to apply AI to the medical industry and communicate with industry lecturers and hospital doctors. This event hopes to create a platform for young people to understand the cross-domain applications of AI and a community exchange venue, so that each participant can get more innovative application ideas about artificial intelligence from others.
Q: What will I get after joining the camp?
A: Basic knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning and deep learning, data in various subject areas, image collection and labeling process, AI model training or prediction implementation, the latest AI research and application, teamwork, special briefing preparation and results presentation, expert review feedback and camp completion certificate.
Q: What are the costs for camp activities?
A: Please refer to the registration page for the activity fee. There is an early bird discount before 11/25. You can also join a group with classmates to enjoy a discount price: 10% off for a group of two, and 15% off for a group of four.
Q: Are there any discounts for poor students?
A: AI4kids provides a 50% registration fee reduction for 3 students per camp, limited to students from poor, lower-middle/low-income families, and students from families with special circumstances. Parents of students, please contact service@ai4kids.ai and provide relevant certification documents issued by the Social Affairs Bureau of the county or municipal government where your household registration is located, including those for poor, lower-middle/low-income, or families in special circumstances. We will have someone dedicated to assist you with registration.
Q: What should I do if something unexpected happens and I cannot attend after registering?
A: If you are unable to participate in the event after registering, please apply for a refund in the following ways:
(1) Cancellation of the course within 30 days before the start of the course after the registration is completed: 70% of the course fee will be refunded
(2) After completing the registration process, cancel the course 30 days to 7 days before the start of the course: 50% of the course fee will be refunded
(3) After completing the registration process, within 7 days before the course starts: you cannot cancel the course
